libkakasi2-dev software package provides Header files and static libraries for library version of KAKASI, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkakasi2-dev
libkakasi2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkakasi2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkakasi2-dev *
You will get with libkakasi2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
